This page describes the Marketing Growth Group text messaging program. It is a required disclosure for mobile carrier registration and it also tells you exactly what you are agreeing to. Our full Privacy Policy applies as well.
Program name and description
Marketing Growth Group Content Approvals and Account Notices.
Marketing Growth Group sends text messages to clients and their authorized users for two purposes:
- Content approval alerts. Notice that content is waiting for your approval, that an approval date is today or has passed, or that a piece changed after you approved it.
- Account and scheduling messages. Appointment confirmations and reminders, and notices about your account.
These are service messages about work you have engaged us to do. This program is not used to send promotional or marketing offers.
How you join
You join by giving us your mobile number and checking the consent box on a form, in your portal settings, or on a signed engagement document. The box is never checked for you.
The consent language reads:
Yes, text me approval reminders at the mobile number above. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service from us. If you do not opt in, you will receive the same notices by email and nothing about your service changes.
You may only enroll a mobile number that belongs to you or that you are authorized to enroll.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on how much content is in your approval queue. In normal use this is a small number of messages per month. We do not send routine or promotional texts.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s rate plan governs what you are charged. You are responsible for any charges your carrier imposes. Contact your carrier with questions about your plan.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message from us. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further texts.
You may also email help@marketinggrowthgroup.com with the mobile number you want removed, or turn text messages off in your portal settings.
Opting out of texts does not remove you from email. Use the unsubscribe link in an email, or write to us, to change that separately.
How to rejoin
Reply START to the number that messaged you, or turn text messages back on in your portal settings.

Supported carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your carrier, your device and network conditions, and we cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered or delivered on time.
Because delivery is not guaranteed, text messages are a convenience and not the system of record. Every notice we send by text is also available in your approval portal and, where applicable, by email. Do not rely on a text message alone to know the status of your content.
Privacy
We handle the mobile number and consent record you give us as described in our Privacy Policy.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared with service providers that support services such as customer care or message delivery. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Changing your number
Tell us if your mobile number changes or is reassigned. Email help@marketinggrowthgroup.com. You agree not to hold us responsible for messages sent to a number you gave us before you told us it changed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The “effective date” above shows when they last changed. Material changes affecting the program will be communicated to enrolled users before they take effect.
